Launched in 2016, DreamCatchers for Kids™ has one mission: to bring joy, hope, and unforgettable experiences to children in the Mahoning Valley facing life-threatening illness. We believe every child — no matter the challenges they face — deserves a moment of pure happiness. A memory they and their family will carry forever.
…is open to children who meet all the following:
✓ Child is between ages 3 and 18 at the time of application
✓ Child has been diagnosed with a life-threatening or terminal condition
✓ Family lives in Mahoning, Trumbull, or Columbiana County (Out-of-area applications are accepted but priority is given to these three counties)
A day at the zoo. Meeting a hero. A backyard adventure built just for them. A trip they’ve always dreamed of. There is no wrong wish — every experience is designed around the child and what brings them the most joy.

Step 1 — Submit a nomination: Fill out the short form below. It takes about 10-15 minutes. You can nominate your own child or a child you know.
Step 2 — We reach out personally: Our team reads every submission and contacts you directly to learn more about the child and their dream, if applicable.
Step 3 — We plan every detail together or in conjuction with the family: Working with you, your family, and if needed, the child’s care team — we design an experience that is exactly right for your child.
Step 4 — The dream happens: We handle the logistics, if necessary. You focus on your child and enjoy every moment.
