
Corey Patrick
He joined the YBI team in 2016 as one of the inaugural Monus Entrepreneurship Fellows before becoming a part of YBI’s full-time marketing department.
A 2011 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and a 2016 graduate of Youngstown State University, he has a double major in finance and marketing, a minor in entrepreneurship and a certificate in Non-profit Leadership.
He has a passion for small business and start-ups, which was sparked from his prior work as a Beeghly Fellow at the Ohio Small Business Development Center at YSU.
As a student, he was very involved as he was an active member of eight student organizations, including holding leadership positions on four of them.
Post-graduation, he remains involved as he serves on the Board of Directors for a local non-profit, The Walnut Grove, an inclusive, special needs accessible playground and trails project in Canfield.
Corey has dedicated countless hours, dollars and in-kind services to a number of non-profit organizations in the Mahoning Valley. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Walnut Grove; the Mahoning Valley’s only totally inclusive and accessible playground facility where he has used his time, talent and financial resources to help further the mission of the park. Additionally, he has offered his time and knowledge to Inspiring Minds Youngstown, where he first witnessed the need for an organization of this caliber in our area.
Additionally, he is an Advisor for the St. Joseph’s Church “Celebrate” Program, the director of marketing for Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity’s Beta Gamma Chapter Alumni Association, is a group fitness trainer at Studio Pump and a content creator for the Cleveland Plus blog, all while maintaining his own Digital Marketing company, Cubed Digital.
