Moriah McCorkle

H.O.P.E Honoree

Moriah McCorkle’s commitment to service began at the age of 12, when she chose to join a youth mentoring program dedicated to supporting underserved children. What began as a simple decision to show up for others quickly evolved into a lifelong calling rooted in integrity, responsibility, and compassion. That early experience helped shape Moriah’s understanding of leadership—not as a position, but as service: meeting people where they are, listening first, and acting with purpose. Throughout her career, Moriah has been recognized for her unwavering commitment to community empowerment and her ability to turn vision into meaningful action. In 2020, she founded O.N.E. (Ongoing Neighborhood Empowerment), an organization created to expand her impact through structured, sustainable programs focused on education, mentorship, reentry support, and strengthening community unity throughout the Mahoning Valley. Through this work, she has created pathways of opportunity for individuals and families who often face significant challenges, ensuring that support is not only accessible but also rooted in dignity and respect.

Known for her ability to build strong partnerships and mobilize resources, Moriah has developed initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. Her leadership style is grounded in transparency, compassion, and a deep belief in the potential of every individual.
