The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley funds nonprofits and community organizations running programs that directly benefit children with chronic and terminal illness in the Mahoning Valley.
If your organization is doing this work — whether through therapy, adaptive recreation, family support, respite care, or another direct-service program — we want to support it.
Your organization must meet all of the following to be considered:
✓ Active 501(c)(3) nonprofit status
✓ Programs that directly serve children with chronic or terminal illness
✓ Located in or serving the Mahoning Valley region
✓ Demonstrated history of responsible fund stewardship
✓ Able to submit a follow-up impact report within 6 months of receiving funds
Not sure if you qualify? Email us first at info@hopemv.org — we’re happy to help you determine if your organization is a good fit before you apply.

We fund programs with a clear, direct connection to improving the lives of seriously ill children. Examples include:
✓ Pediatric therapy services and equipment
✓ Adaptive recreation and enrichment programs
✓ Family respite and mental health support
✓ Transportation to medical or therapeutic services
✓ Educational resources for children with chronic illness
✓ Childhood illness support groups and peer programs
If your program doesn’t fit neatly into one of these categories but serves seriously ill children, still reach out — we review every application individually.
Step 1: Review the eligibility requirements above and confirm your organization qualifies.
