Hope Foundation Announces its Honorees for the Wine for Hope

A Banquet Hall Full Of People Attending A Hope Foundation Fundraiser

(Youngstown, OH) The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is proud to announce the selection of the 2018 H.O.P.E. “Lifetime Achievement” Honorees. Presented by The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley and in association with WKBN 27 First News’ “Caring for Our Community” initiative, the 8th annual Wine for Hope will take place on Friday, April 13, 2018 at The Lake Club in Poland 6:30-11pm and will recognize the following individuals for being Honorable. Outstanding. Philanthropic. Excellent.

Honorees include:

Kathy Cook, Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital
Mary Duke, Teen Straight Talk
Dr. Heather Hrina-Medvec, Ohio Living Home Health/Boo Squad

The H.O.P.E Honorees will be recognized and the recipient of the H.O.P.E. Award will be announced the night of, to join the prestigious ranks of our past recipients highlighting the efforts of this year’s individuals to improve the quality of life of children, families and others in our community.

Past recipients are Raymond Marrow (2017), George Gabriel (2016), Jack Gocala, Sr. (2015) and the late Henry Nemenz (2014).

The evening will be emceed by WKBN 27 First News This Morning Anchor, Dan Martin. Guests will enjoy a full dinner, wine tasting in a commemorative glass, entertainment and an awards ceremony. All proceeds from the event, including a silent auction and raffle baskets will help better the lives of chronically and terminally ill children in the Mahoning Valley.
