This past Thursday, the Mahoning County Commissioners presented the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley with a special proclamation recognizing May 15 as All For The Kids Awareness Day.
“By creating awareness on a local, state and national level the participating nonprofits are looking to rally their communities behind the issue of seriously ill children and their families,” states Anthony Spano, executive director of the Youngstown-based Foundation.
He says that the Hope Foundation is one of hundreds of locally based nonprofit organizations in America that share a similar mission.
