Gocala, Sr earning HOPE Honors-Wine for Hope

It is with great honor that the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley presents the 5th annual Wine for Hope event on Saturday, April 25th at 7p.m. at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8567 Market Street, Boardman.

It will be an exciting evening of Fine Wines, Gourmet Food Stations and Great Music. New for 2015, courtesy of Komara Jewelers, those who become Grand Cru, Sommelier or Vintner sponsors and attend will be provided exquisite jewelry to wear during the event.

This year, the foundation will feature Jack Gocala, Sr., Retired YSU Police Chief, as honorary chairman of this great event. In addition, Mr. Gocala, Sr. will also be recipient of the H.O.P.E. Award (Honorable. Outstanding. Philanthropic. Excellent.) for his lifetime achievement and contributions to the Valley. This prestigious award is given out to the person who donates his/her time over their lifetime to children and the community as a whole.

The event is sponsored by television stations WKBN 27 First News & 33 WYTV; radio stations MIX 98.9 and News Radio 570 WKBN; Komara Jewelers, Mark Cole Agency, the Lamar Advertising Company, Antone’s Banquet Centre, Minuteman Press of Youngstown and Prop Logistics, LLC.

Tickets are currently on sale for $55 per person, which includes gourmet food stations, wine tasting, entertainment, fine wines, cash bar, memorabilia/silent auction & a collectable wine glass.
