H.O.P.E. Award Honorees
What is the H.O.P.E. Award?
The H.O.P.E. Award for Lifetime Achievement is one of the highest honors the Hope Foundation bestows. Presented annually at the Wine for Hope Gala, the award recognizes individuals who embody what it means to serve — giving their time, resources, and heart to improve the lives of children and families in the Mahoning Valley.
H.O.P.E. stands for: Honorable. Outstanding. Philanthropic. Excellent.
Since 2014, we have recognized extraordinary community leaders through this award. What began as a single recipient has grown into a class of honorees each year — because the Valley is full of people who deserve to be celebrated.
H.O.P.E. Award for Lifetime Achievement Honorees/Recipients
The first recipient of this prestigious award was Henry Nemenz in 2014 — a man who spent decades giving his time, money, and resources to children in the Valley. His legacy set the standard for every honoree who has followed.
Below you will find every H.O.P.E. Award honoree since the program began.
