Youngstown-This past May, The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley appointed Dr. John Cox of Canfield to its newly formed Doctors Advisory Board for this upcoming year. The Doctors Advisory Board will assist The Foundation in a variety of ways through its expertise and experience dealing with chronically/terminally ill children of the Mahoning Valley.
Dr. John Cox, a Pediatrician in Canfield, is a lifelong Valley resident. After graduating from YSU, he attended medical school at The University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Cox then retuned home for his pediatric residency at Tod Children’s Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident.
“Dr Cox brings a wealth of knowledge to the advisory board and The Foundation. We are very excited and are looking forward to having him on board,” Anthony Spano added.
Dr. Cox takes great pride in his community involvement, having served as Medical director of 4 our Kids, Board of Directors of Mahoning County Children’s Services and will be in coming Board President of The Youngstown Playhouse. He is honored to be part of The Hope Foundation.
